Jessica Segal
Owner/Artistic Director
Jessica started dancing when she was 3 years old and trained for 14 years in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, hip hop, lyrical, and contemporary dance. She was an award winning competitive dancer that traveled and danced all over the country and performed at the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, and in London, England. When Jessica was 11 years old she started apprenticing dance classes under her teachers and began teaching her own classes when she was 15 years old. She has many 1st place dances at competitions and received a best choreography award. Jessica taught dance for 7 years before taking a small break to start a family and is ready to get back into dancing and teaching by opening Breakout Dance Company. From a young age she knew she wanted to be a dance teacher as the dance studio was the one place that this shy little girl could break out of her shell and completely be herself. Jessica wants to create a safe space for children of all ages to be able to be themselves, have fun, and learn to be the best dancer they can be.

Jessica has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Towson University and is looking to continue her education through kinesiology.
